Visibility + Engagement = Opportunity

An industry veteran who’s just getting started.

He built Recommendation Marketing and The Engagement Engine. Two systems for getting companies recommended by buyers, and by the AI those buyers ask first.

No one buys laundry detergent because of its chemical compounds. They buy it because it gets blood out.

That’s marketing.

Whether your organization is just getting out of the starting gate or capitalizing on its success, my agencies have taken companies from the kitchen table to acquisition, IPO, and everywhere in between.

The work always starts the same way. Somebody hands me a situation everyone else has already accepted, and I go looking for the angle in it.

New Yorkers start the day believing everyone around them is an obstacle. The barista, the boss, the neighbor, the person blocking the subway door. One morning I brushed against someone on an overstuffed car and she turned and told me exactly what she thought of me.

I could have let it go. Instead I said:

“Not everyone sucks. I’ll give you 90%. I’ll even give you 95%. But I won’t give you everyone.”

She agreed. Then the people around us started arguing it out among themselves. A shove had turned into a conversation, and I was not going to waste it. We launched #noteveryonesucks that day, and New Yorkers filled it with the small proofs they had been collecting all along and never mentioned. A returned wallet. A given-up seat. A thank you that landed.

That is the job. Find the angle nobody thought to look for, and build on it before the moment closes.

The Engagement Engine is the system that came out of that work. Five parts, and they only pay off when they run together. Recommendation Marketing is what it’s for: getting chosen before the first conversation.

Let’s build a measurable action plan so that your organization attracts the right leads, turns those leads into sales, and supports the advocates who champion you.

I look forward to it.
